Diver,
Thank
you for your interest in our upcoming NITROX DIVER course.
Though only recently promoted, Nitrox has
been in use for over fifty years!
It
has taken the sport diving industry, however, that long to come to an
agreement
about the safety, instruction, and handling of this gas mixture. As you may have
heard or read, using EAN
(Enriched Air Nitrox I or II) instead of air for your dives
(up to 110’ for EAN
II & 130’ for EAN I) is more beneficial to you!
The Nitrox Diver
course will teach you the fundamentals of EAN
and get you certified so you can use
this gas on your future dives. We are now
pumping Nitrox!
The
dates, times, and fees are listed below. This
course will meet on
Tuesday & Thursday nights from 7-10 pm at the shop or two
mornings. The
course
fee includes all classroom
sessions, PADI or SDI text book, PADI or SDI certification
card and if two required dives are completed with us, the nitrox fills
for the course
are
also included. Not included is the charter fee for these dives.
Tanks
filled with Nitrox may be rented for $13.50 each after the
course is over
for your own use or have your tanks O2 cleaned and we can fill Nitrox
into your cylinder.
