Thank you for your interest in our 2016 repeat trip to Bali, Indonesia! If it’s anything like our 2013 and 2014 trips, it will be a sell out and another incredible journey that should not be missed in one’s lifetime! The dates listed above are the actual dates we will be aboard the wonderful, beautiful “Arenui!” Words cannot describe not only the beauty of the boat but the ammenities, the crew, the food and the attention to detail the boat is famous for. Not only will we have world class diving, food and comfort, but the shear beauty of the Indian Ocean and it’s wonders will take your breadth away!

Unlike past trips that began in Bali and ended in Labuanbajo, this journey will begin in Labuanbajo and end in Bali. For those that wish to do some touring in Bali, I will arrange at least two days of touring after we depart the boat and fly back from Labuanbajo to Bali. Another option for those of us that have already been to Bali is to tour Germany or some other european country. Last year’s trip via Singapore air stopped off in Frankfort, Germany. If we take the same airline (too soon to plan) I may offer a few days touring Europe before heading to the boat. I will figure this all out when we finalize our group.

At the moment, the pricing for just the boat portion of the trip is $4560.00 per person, double occupancy in the standard cabins. PLUS $310.00 per person for projected fuel surcharge, Govt. taxes and Indonesia park fee. Total is $4870.00. There are two Premium cabins at an additional cost of $400 per person. The above fees include EVERYTHING aboard the boat except a tip for the crew and any incidentals that you may want to purchase while aboard (Beer, wine, liquor, clothing, etc.). I will have suggested flights and tours shortly for your consideration. For now, the main thing is to secure your space on the boat. I have reserved the entire boat (16 passengers) but I have to give back space shortly. To hold your spot, I will need a non refundable deposit of $500.00, with balance of payment due 90 days prior to departure. I will suggest a scheduled payment plan later to ease the financial pain! Once you have paid your deposit, you will be liable for the full payment of your cabin space, so please consider purchasing trip cancelation insurance!

Jun 2016 Komodo:

Trip departs Labuanbajo on 5 June 2016 for 8 nights, ending 13 June in Bali. Komodo National Park (KNP) was recently listed as one of the “New 7 Wonders of Nature”, so you’ll be visiting a world-class destination! This is a great itinerary for all kinds of muck diving, as the KNP dive sites are packed full of unbelievable critters such as ornate ghost pipefish, pygmy seahorses, rare clown frogfish, blue-ringed octopus, pipefish, scorpion leaf fish, coleman shrimp, boxer crabs, zebra crabs and of course the weird and wonderful nudibranchs (if lucky, the ridiculously cute Pikachu nudi)! Divers keen on coral reefs will also be amazed at the range of corals that Komodo has to offer – from soft to hard and in warm to temperate waters – while those seeking out schooling fish need look no further than the thrilling current dives of Gili Lawa Laut. If you’re also hoping for some pelagics and ocean giants then bring your wide-angle lens along too for the resident mantas and sharks, but keep a watch for passing dolphins, whales and the elusive mola-mola (sun fish).
