Thank you for your interest in our upcoming long weekend trip to Grand Cayman Island.! Located just 90 miles south of Cuba and only a short 3 hour and ten minute direct flight from NY, Grand Cayman is one of the most desired destinations for divers. With it’s steep drop off’s, ship wrecks, Sting Ray City and good, available shore diving, Grand Cayman has enough variety of dives to keep any diver happy!
We will be staying at the famed Sunset House, located just about a mile south of Georgetown, away from the hustle and bustle of the Seven Mile Beach area. Sunset House is not a glamorous resort, but very clean, comfortable and convenient. It’s water front dock affords boat pick ups right from the resort. There’s also great shore diving from the dock. The resort also has a wonderful waterfront restaurant and bar, a big favorite for tourists and locals.
Our long weekend package will include: 5 Days/4 nights in either an oceanview room or suite, 3 days of 2 tank boat dives, unlimited shore diving, tanks, weights, weight belts, full breakfast daily, on island airport transfers, hotel tax and hotel service charges. NOT included: Airfare*, lunch, dinner and tip for the crew ($10/dive)
The lower priced courtyard rooms have already been taken, however, I was able to reserve either the oceanview rooms or suites. The pricing is as follows: Oceanview room, double occupancy, $1195.00each. Single occupancy, $1795.00. Suites, double occupancy, $1280.00 per person, single occupancy, $1950.00. Non-Diver, deduct $300.00.
As with all of our trips, I require a non refundable deposit of $500.00 per person, with final payment due 60 days (27 August) prior to departure. I prefer checks or cash for payments, however, we will add a 3.5% service charge for debit or charge card payments. Checks can be made out to: Orbit Marine, 3273 Fairfield Ave., Bridgeport, CT. 06605. Having travel and medical insurance is always suggested. DAN divers insurance is required at most destinations. Info can be found at: dan.org.
*I typically will post the most convenient and reasonably priced flights (maybe direct from NY area) available, so stay tuned for a list of what I suggest in flights. If enough of us travel together on the same flights, I can charter a van for round trip transportation from the shop at a much lower rate than you can get as an individual.
If you have any questions, please feel free to e mail me at email@example.com or call me at 203-333-3483.
Thank you for your interest in another “Capt. Noel’s Diventures!” Hope you can make the trip!
