Thank you for your interest in our upcoming trip to
Key West,
Florida! It's a return trip back to this great
American dive/vacation destination, but with the recent sinking of the
"Vandenberg," it's time to go back! Last year's trip was challenging
with the currents on the wreck, but we have a little experience
with it now, so I think this next trip will be even better!
The plan is to leave NY (LGA) early Thursday morning for Miami, where
we will board a flight to Key West, arriving early afternoon in Key
West. I plan to reserve several mini vans for the weekend as well as
seek out the best hotel deals. We will dive Friday, Saturday and
Sunday and include both reef and wreck dives with possibly a surprise
dive on the famed treasure ship "Atocha!"
Usually I include flights in my trip packages, but because we're still
in the states and this is a last minute trip idea, I'm going to list
the flights I am taking and leave it up to you to book your own
flights into Key West. It would be nice if we all were on the same
flight, but as long as you arrive sometime Thursday, Sept. 30, there's
no problem.
Pricing with flights, hotel and diving should be in the range of
$969.00 based on double occupancy. Single occupancy will be about
$300-$400 extra. I'll have final flight and hotel info shortly,
