Our OPEN WATER DIVER course meets just one weekend,  Saturday and Sunday (if needed). The course fee includes: All classroom (at Orbit Marine) and pool sessions, text book, course dvd, certification card and the use of all Scuba equipment for the pool. Not included are four open water training dives which should be done over two days as soon as possible after the completion of the classroom and pool sessions.

The student must provide his/her own mask, snorkel, fins, booties, and log book. WE STRONGLY ADVISE THAT THESE ITEMS  BE PURCHASED PRIOR TO THE COURSE START DATE. Students will receive a 10% credit for the purchase of the aforementioned gear at our shop!

Note: Students should plan to come to the shop at least a week prior to course start date to pick up dvd, text book and work book. There is a homework assignment that needs to be completed prior to the first class meeting!

Upon completion of all course requirements, the student will be given a referral letter to do the final open water training dives else where or the student may complete the dives locally with us during the warm weather months. A  SDI OPEN WATER DIVER certification card with be awarded upon completion of the above dives. This card is internationally recognized!

Saturday Pool Session: 1-5pm @ Milford Y Pool.   Sunday Pool Session(if needed):Time to be announced.

*NOTE: YOU MUST COME TO THE SHOP PRIOR TO COURSE START DATE  TO PICK UP TEXT, DVD AND WORKBOOK!  It's recommended you pick up these items at least one week prior to course date as there is a small homework assignment.


COURSE FEE: $300.00.  Two or more students sharing the same dvd $265.00 each additional student.
