Nitrox Diver

       January 4, 1-3pm!

Thank you for your interest in our Computer Nitrox Diver course. Unlike the "old" days, Nitrox diving has become a major part of sport diving, with most resorts and live aboard dive vessels offering Nitrox to their customers. Although a very safe gas mixture to use, there are a number of facts the user must know to safely utilize this gas, thus the requirement for Nitrox certification. Also, unlike the "old" days, the Nitrox class is now just a few hours long, instead of two to three classroom nights and several Nitrox dives. With the advent of dive computers have Nitrox setting capabilities, it's even easier to plan and run your dive without the need for separate dive tables.

Our Computer Nitrox Diver program consists of just 2-3 hours of classroom time. You will receive a Computer Nitrox manual as well as a work book (take home exam). Once you complete your homework assignment, contact the shop and we will set up a time for you to come in and review the work book as well as have a hands on session to analize several Nitrox/Mixed gas cylinders, understand how the gas is mixed, review recording procedures, etc. Upon completion of the classroom session, your instructor will register you to receive by mail, your permanent Computer Nitrox certification card.  NOTE: IF A DATE IS POSTED, YOU WILL NEED TO STOP IN THE SHOP A FEW DAYS BEFORE, TO PAY FOR THE COURSE, PICK UP MATERIALS AND COMPLETE YOUR HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT.

The fee for this program is $125.00. Includes the text book, work book, classroom session and certification card. The fee will be do at time of sign up. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me by phone or e mail at the numbers/email address above.

Thank you again for your interest in our Notrox program! Hope to see you soon!
