PADI RESCUE DIVER!

ORIENTATION

If you ever thought about what you would do in an emergency, ever were involved in an emergency and couldn’t do anything, or are planning on becoming a Divemaster, Assistant Instructor or Instructor YOU MUST TAKE THIS COURSE!

The Rescue Diver program is designed to give divers, such as you, the working knowledge of how to successfully rescue another diver (or anyone). You will learn the latest in CPR, first aid, O2 administration, as well as tired diver and unconscious diver rescue techniques. Both boat and beach diving conditions will be discussed and practiced. There will be life like scenarios for you and your assigned buddy to practice your skills.

The program will consist of 2-3 classroom sessions, one pool session (optional), and 2-3 half days of diving. At the final class meeting, there will be a course review and final written exam. Upon successful completion of this program, you will receive a PADI Rescue Diver certification specialty card. Enrollment is limited and will be on a first come, first served basis.

The fee for this course is $525.00 and includes all classroom and pool (optional) sessions, the PADI Rescue Diver manual, PADI Rescue diver registration and all boat fees! Tanks, weight belts and weights, also included. Students dive equipment not included. If you decide to do the PADI Rescue e learning portion, your cost is $475.00.

PREREQUISITES FOR FULL CERTIFICATION: 1) Minimum age 15. 2) Advanced Diver Certification or equiv. 3) Current Medic First Aid, Emergency First Responder or nationally recognized First Aid/CPR certification (we offer these programs here during or after the Rescue course).

CLASSROOM SESSIONS: Tuesday and Thursday nights, 6-9 (or when convenient), at Orbit Marine.

NOTE: IF YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE PADI ONLINE RESCUE PROGRAM, YOUR COST IS $445.00 PER PERSON.
