SAN SALVADOR, BAHAMAS
May 18-23, 2011
Thank you for your interest in our upcoming return trip to San Salvador, Bahamas!  Last year's trip was a blast, so we're going back!  If it's a laid back, great diving island you are looking for, San Salvador is the place!

Not to be confused with El Savador, San Salvador, Bahamas offers some of the most spectacular wall and shallow reef diving the Bahamas has to offer, not to mention fantastic fishing and just plain relaxing. On this last trip, we had several reef sharks and large groupers keeping us company throughout the dives!  A few hammer head sharks were even spotted!  Really cool to see!

Our all inclusive package will include: round trip air from Nassau to San Sal*, one night hotel stay in Nassau, deluxe ocean view hotel room, hotel taxes, hotel gratuities, three full meals a day, eight boat dives (3 boat dives the 1st two days, 2 boat dives the last day), island tour, use of tanks, weight belt, weights and transportation to and from the local airstrip! Not included are alcholic beverages in San Sal and a tip for the crew. Meals and any other expense in Nassau is also not included.

The package price for double occupancy is $1369.00 per person. Single price is $1789.00.

Other than a Club Med on the opposite side of the air strip, Riding Rock Inn is the only other resort. Although not glamorous by other island standards, the Riding Rock Inn continues to offer clean, comfortable air conditioned rooms, great home cooked meals and a friendly Bahamian atmosphere that makes you want to just keep going back!  Not to mention the fantastic diving!

Because flights to San Salvador are limited, I have opted to do an overnight in Nassau (Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort) on May 18. We will fly out of Nassau at 11am via Bahamas Air # UP 377 and arrive in San Salvador at 12:00 Noon.  We will depart San Salvador on May 23, 11:20 am on #UP 377, arrive Nassau at 1:05pm. These inter island flights ARE included in the package.

* NOTE.. DOES NOT include flights from NY to Nassau. The best flights I have found were on Jet Blue which seems to offer the only direct flights to and from New York's JFK airport. The flights I have considered for myself are: May 18, Jet Blue #719, 7am, JFK...arrive Nassau 10am. May 23, Jet Blue #724, 4:46 Nassau, arrive JFK 7:46pm.
