Aboard the "MY Turks & Caicos Explorer II"
Thank you for your interest in our upcoming trip to the Turks & Caicos (TC) islands! Over the year’s we’ve run several successful land based trips to TC, but now it’s time to do a live-aboard boat! This week long trip will be aboard the "MY Turks & Caicos Explorer II." Information on the boat can be found below.Our package will include 7 nights aboard the boat, including all meals, all diving (up to 5 dives daily!), snacks, beverages (including liquor!), use of tanks, weight belts and weights. Not included: Airfare, transfers from airport to hotel, tip for the crew, nitrox, final night’s dinner, park, fuel and government tax fees. When available, I will suggest the best direct flight to take to Provinciales in TC.Price per person, double occupancy, is $2895.00. In order to reserve your spot, a $500.00, non refundable deposit will be required, with final payment due 90days prior to departure. The M/VTurks & Caicos Exploer IIcomfortably accommodates
20 passengers in 10 double staterooms, each of which has private bathroom facilities, individually-controlled air conditioning, hanging closet and wardrobe. The air-conditioned main salon on the main deck includes dining tables, TV, CD/DVD, video library and lounge area. A large sundeck with lounge chairs, barbecue and buffet area is located aft of the upstairs deckhouse, which contains two additional passenger staterooms, pilothouse, and Captain’s cabin. Alarge awning-covered flybridge with wet bar and seating for 15 isaccessed from the sundeck as well.
The dive deck is equipped with a bathroom, individual gear bins,camera table, recharging station, air and nitrox filling stations, tankracks, freshwater showers, and a separate fresh water rinse for both scuba and underwater camera equipment. There are two large stairways accessing the dive platform, where two in-water ladders hang for easy access to and from the water. TheTurks & Caicos Explorer IIis also equipped with a satellite telephone for outgoing calls worldwide.
