Dear Diver,                                                                                      11 January  2012 Another year has come and gone. Can’t say it was the best year we’ve ever had, but given the economy and your continued support, everything’s OK! Unfortunately, I’m home now until Feb 2 when we leave for Aruba! Our Cozumel trip last month with 18 people was amazing! I already booked Nov 29-Dec 3 for this year’s repeat of a sell out trip!  Don’t get left behind!  Still have a few spots open for Aruba, so if you’re interested in getting away for a quick mid winter warm up, please check out www.orbitmarine.com/aruba.html for more info. We are now full for our March 8-19 trip to Dubai and the Maldives! My fourth trip in four years to this destination! We’ll be land touring Dubai for a few days then spend 7 days aboard the “Maldives Aggressor!” If you’re not one of the 20 people on this trip, maybe next time?! Beyond the above, April 7-12 or 7-14 takes us to Roatan, Honduras!  Again, trip is full! I’m taking stand bye’s only, so if you’re interested, please let me know as I’ll get you on the wait list. You never know when rooms may open up!  Haven’t been back to Roatan in years, so I can’t wait to see how the island has changed. May 13-21 we’re headed back to Freeport, Bahamas, June 21-25,  August wreck week in North Carolina, Sept. 27-Oct 1 Nassau, Bahamas.  Big trip for the second half of the year will be Oct 31-Nov 13 Costa Rica and Cocos Islands and Cozumel Nov 29-Dec 3!  Check all trips out at www.orbitmarine.com/trips.html. We’re taking  $500.00, non refundable deposits for all trips not full. Many fill quickly, so don’t wait for last minute! Basic Open Water classes will continue throughout the winter,  just about every two weeks. With our one day OW courses, learning to dive is a snap! We’re now doing most classes on just one Saturday. The next  dates are Jan 7, Jan 21, Feb 4, Feb 18 and March 3 as starters for 2012. Any friends or enemies that you know who want to learn to dive, please pass it along! If they can share your class DVD, they can save $35.00 off the cost of the course! Nitrox and CPR programs will be on request. Rescue and Dive Master programs will begin in early spring. So, no more 6am’s for a while waiting for fisherman to come in for bait! I can now sleep a bit longer until April. Next time you see me, I should at least look a little rested, younger no, rested, yes! Please support your local bricks and mortar shops (us!).
